@Futuremarketing: Thank you and welcome! But I don’t actually know what to do here now. On one hand I don’t want to interfere with your lecturer's grading of your work (nor do their work for them, which I suspect was in part their intent!), but on the other hand your unmarked and uncorrected work is now very public on this real Wikipedia page. Frankly I think it’s reckless of your lecturer to have asked you to do this ... but that's not your fault.

That being said, you have added a lot of general material that is already covered in greater depth on other Wikipedia pages, such as Noongar, and which belongs there. It doesn’t need to be repeated here, and which importantly means it is developed and grown and made better in one focused spot (and it must, there isn't nearly enough right now), and not on a page about Beeliar Wetlands 😀. However, material that is about Beeliar Wetlands, or about Noongar and – or relating to – Beeliar Wetlands ... that definitely belongs here and must be here. So link to the Noongar pages, move anything unrelated to Beeliar Wetlands to those pages, and trim and condense what you have here. Always make it as simple as possible, but not simpler. Finally, typeset your work properly and follow the style manual: use " and ' instead of “ or ” and ‘ or ’. Don’t break sentences. Quote and reference properly.

@Futuremarketing: When adding images to the article, please ensure these are freely available from Commons and not sourced from https://www.bushlandperth.org.au/resources-page/, which are not free images, unless you have gained their permission first. Editor Intending to Make Changes

I'm a novice editor planning on making Wikipedia edits on this page for the next few weeks for a technical/professional editing class. I would like to address issues in line with organization, structure, and grammar mostly. I would like to move a few things around such as perhaps moving locational information into the lead rather than with historical context. I think there is much potential for this page to be better and I'd like to help with that how I can. EldritchMaw (talk) 18:16, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

After doing a few weeks of work on this article, I have a few suggestions to leave after my work. I think that it would be beneficial to add more context about the area itself if possible, such as local activities, local flora and fauna, trails, etc--even more information about the Banksia Woodlands pictured in the article if that is part of the area. Perhaps also collect all the aboriginal history and context and place a majority of it within one or two dedicated sections (like 'historical significance' or 'aboriginal background/context,' etc) so that the article doesn't seem to be more about this information rather than the area itself.
