Beer Bong Incident
editThe implication that the "beer bong" incident with John Kerry had any significant role in increasing the public's awareness of the device is a spurious claim. Top search engine results for "beer bong" do not include primary references to the Kerry incident. The incident itself resulted in a photograph that very briefly made the news and then faded into history, to be forgotten by most. Including this incident as "trivia" might be acceptable, but suggesting that it is anything more is disingenuous. 132.3.65.78 (talk) 16:30, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
- It doesn't say that it did do that. Nonetheless, the incident was extensively covered by reliable sources. Remember also that articles should be content preserving (WP:PRESERVE); i.e. nothing should be deleted that belongs in a finished and complete article. Oreo Priest talk 20:55, 4 April 2014 (UTC)

Use
editWhy does it say "translucent yellow-brown liquid" instead of beer? The device is clearly filled with beer as indicated in the title of the article "Beer bong" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.24.136.114 (talk) 23:05, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
