Electromechanical powertrain??

edit

It says that the Belaz 75600 has an electromechanical powertrain. What is an electromechanical powertrain? I can't make any sense of this and I think it must be an error. Most likely it is diesel electric but it can also be a number of other possible alternatives. But electromechanical I have never heard about before. Not in any type of machinery/vehicle. It's diesel-electric although "electromechanical" is not an unusual translation, I think. I've added a little more text based on this. bobrayner (talk) 00:59, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
