GAC
editI'm not going to fail this article's nomination (although I probably should) but I'm concerned over the lack of references and footnotes on this article, articles without references (three on an article this size won't do) are usually quick failed without receiving a complete review, another issue I noticed while browsing the text was that full dates weren't linked, please link them to avoid WP:MOS concerns in the review and expand the lead to shape it into a proper overview of the article per WP:LEAD, fix these and the chances of this article passing GAC will improve, good luck! - Caribbean~H.Q. 00:36, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have failed this article since the request for references has been in place for 23 days and has not yet been attended to. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 04:17, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Auto peer review output
editThe following suggestions were generated by a semi-automatic javascript program, and might not be applicable for the article in question.
- Consider adding more links to the article; per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (links) and Wikipedia:Build the web, create links to relevant articles.[?]
- Per Wikipedia:Context and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates), months and days of the week generally should not be linked. Years, decades, and centuries can be linked if they provide context for the article.[?]
- Per Wikipedia:Context and Wikipedia:Build the web, years with full dates should be linked; for example, link January 15, 2006.[?]
- Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style (headings), headings generally do not start with articles ('the', 'a(n)'). For example, if there was a section called ==The Biography==, it should be changed to ==Biography==.[?]
- This article needs footnotes, preferably in the cite.php format recommended by WP:WIAFA. Simply, enclose inline citations, with WP:CITE or WP:CITE/ES information, with <ref>THE FOOTNOTE</ref>. At the bottom of the article, in a section named “References” or “Footnotes”, add
<div class="references-small"><references/></div>
.[?] - Please ensure that the article has gone through a thorough copyediting so that it exemplifies some of Wikipedia's best work. See also User:Tony1/How to satisfy Criterion 1a.[?]

References
editThere was some concern about "articles without references". Some of the `Franchise History' section of this page would have drawn reference from Baseball Ireland's official site, however, the statistics for the 2004 season no longer exist at this, or any other source.Simondoyle (talk) 10:47, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

I was going to rate it GA class, but am unsure how to do it. My reason is that it is fairly comprehensive, however needs a little more info, and some editing from more than one editor.Traditional unionist 23:46, 7 September 2007 (UTC) |
