Is this page ready for publication?
editHi,
I wanted to translate this page from Dutch into English. As it concerns a topic relevant in Belgium and the surrounding area, translations to French and English are needed so that everyone can consult it.
Can you help me make the article publish-ready? By the way, how can I publish this draft file to the public?
Kind regards,

- @Wouterpeeters81: Welcome to the English Wikipedia! (I actually came here via your message on mw:Topic:Yevur6pk7uxrh0yp.)
- Every Wikipedia has its own content policies and guidelines in addition to those that govern all Wikimedia projects. An article existing in one language Wikipedia does not automatically mean that it will be accepted in another.
- Because English Wikipedia is highly visible, there are relatively strict requirements for creating new articles here. You only have four edits on this wiki, so you are not autoconfirmed and cannot create your own articles directly in mainspace – you need to go through the articles for creation process. That page summarises the main things that reviewers will consider – in particular, please read our guidelines on notability and reliable sources which is where a lot of our new contributors get stuck. Help:Translation may also be useful.
- I am in no way qualified to comment on the subject of this article but I see that there are a few {{cite web}} errors. It's possible that templates with the same name are used on different wikis with different parameters. On English Wikipedia, we aim to have a consistent date format within an article, and generally the alternatives are date month year (with the month fully spelled out), month date year (with the month fully spelled out), or ISO8601 (year-month-date). See MOS:DATEFORMAT in our Manual of Style for details.
- When you think this draft is ready to be reviewed, you don't need to use the "Start a new article" button on the AFC page – just add the {{submit}} template to the current draft.
- If you have more questions about editing on the English Wikipedia, do visit our Teahouse for new editors. Again, welcome! ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · contribs · email) 07:55, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- @ClaudineChionh, Thanks for your feedback! I took the advice, modified the article according to the notability and reliable sources guidelines, and made consistency in the date format. The article should now be ready for review and publication.
- I have fixed the {{cite web}} errors and added the
{{subst:submit}}
template. - ~~~~ Wouterpeeters81 (talk) 12:02, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
- Good luck! And I see that Qcne has moved the draft to our customary Draft: namespace. I have also added {{tl}} wrappers to the template examples in our discussion. ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · contribs · email) 12:19, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
