Separate Dutch Clock gable article
editThe only reason there is a section on this page about a Dutch clock gable is because bots kept mistranslating Bell gable into klokgevel because there wasn't any klokkengevel to link to. There aren't any English articles on the numerous other typical Dutch gables to my knowledge. Maybe a single article about a number of them might be better. --Vera (talk) 17:39, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- I totally agree, the two types of bell gables are completly different and have a seperate history and even a seperate function. The Dutch klokgevel (houses) is pure decorative and the bell gable (church) is functionel. Dqfn13 (talk) 19:49, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
- I think a single article on the different types of Dutch gables might be a good idea, agree? --Vera (talk) 07:37, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
- Seems like concensus. Is any one going to carry out the split? Op47 (talk) 22:21, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- I will do the split shortly. I'll have to check some references for Dutch klokgevel first. (Xufanc (talk) 06:03, 14 August 2012 (UTC))

link to the French page on clocher-mur
editA link to the clocher-mur article (in French) would be useful as this type of structures are common in France. The page also references the feature from Russian churches [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.57.28.91 (talk) 20:11, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
