Fair use rationale for Image:Belleblack01.JPG
editImage:Belleblack01.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Belle Brady?
editIs Belle known as Belle Black-Brady or Belle Brady?--Mrm087 (talk) 04:49, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- See WP:COMMON if you have any questions. Her name is Belle Black per Wikipedia guidelines. IrishLass 13:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Belle Brady
editIt's only fair to give her, the "Brady" last name seeing as how people on here are picking and choosing when and where to follow the "common name" rule. Examples being Sharon Abbott (wasn't she known as "Sharon Newman" for over 11 years)..or.."Annie McDermott" been married to Ryan for a couple of months already Annie Lavery..or even..Dinah Marler to "Dinah Marler Mallet" for the short period she was married. You can't pick and choose when to use the rule..you either USE IT or DON'T..now please, if you'd like this article to be Belle Black, can you correct some of the problems listed or respond to me A.S.A.P! —Preceding unsigned comment added by AugustAugust (talk • contribs) 09:15, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- Policy dictates she stay BELLE BLACK. Moving goes against policy and the page has been moved back. If it is moved again, page move protection will be requested. Further, just because "other stuff exists" doesn't mean that the other stuff is right. I don't know those other characters, so I can't address them, that's the point of having multiple editors working on the project. KellyAna (talk) 14:59, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- Well then if you don't know what other stuff I was talking about, you should try to look into it if you call yourself a person who follows "policy" —Preceding unsigned comment added by AugustAugust (talk • contribs) 19:22, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- What I meant was I don't know other characters' names and can't address those articles. If I don't watch a show, I certainly can't say if something is right or wrong. I do however watch Days and can address this issue. You completely took all I said incorrectly. You should read it again. I address articles I know about, I do not address articles I do not know anything about. KellyAna (talk) 19:26, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Plot summary is very out of date. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.193.59 (talk) 21:32, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Maxie jones.jpg
editThe image Image:Maxie jones.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
