Bellifortis the work

edit

This article is about Konrad Kyeser's work on the illustrated manual of military techology. Probably the section in the biography on Kyeser should be merged into this article. The article on Konrad Kyeser should just be about his biography. --Doug Coldwell talk 23:44, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

WHat "biography"? Keyser is known only as the author of this treatise. You could have proposed moving the article, instead you just created a WP:CFORK. I don't have an issue with the article residing at Bellifortis, but somehow needs to clean up the mess now. --dab (𒁳) 12:06, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

More is known of Kyeser's life than his authorship of this book. See the chapter on Natural Magic in Benedek Lang's Unlocked Books (2008). - MDS 23 March 2015 — Preceding unsigned comment added by MoreDeliciousSpeech (talkcontribs) 15:41, 23 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Alexander holding a rocket

edit

Pardon me: but it seem to me, that this rocket ought to be rather the `holy lance´, than any rocket. The autor of that assumption should have red it in some pseudo-scientific work about Kyesers Bellifortis!--139.30.128.37 (talk) 16:56, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The mistake is rather in the image provided: The Bellifortis DOES have a rocket, but it's on f.102r, rather than f.11v as pictured. -- MDS 23 March 2015
