editI appreciate the input of other users into the content of this article.
I do not have a conflict of interest with its subject, however, I am supportive of his work on behalf of women. Accordingly, I have removed this tag.
I would like to address and fix concerns about the tone or style of the article. I have added several more citations to the article. If the user who appended this tag could identify specific areas that could be improved, I will be pleased to do so. Mft1 (talk) 03:59, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- I have changed "renowned" to "known" in the first sentence.
- I have changed "praised" to "acknowledged" in the third paragraph.
- I have provided a citation for the statement, "Barry has been acknowledged for his efforts to reform the fashion industry to more accurately represent women's diversity, and to end the use of a physical beauty ideal type." from the Ottawa Citizen. Mft1 (talk) 04:05, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- I believe I have address any concerns with style or tone. I have reviewed other articles on Wikipedia without this tag but similar features (e.g. Irshad Manji, Craig Kielburger). If there are any remaining concerns, please list them here and I will address them. Mft1 (talk) 05:13, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Sexuality
editIf Barry is gay or bisexual, the article needs to actually state so, along with a WP:RS to back it up. That's per WP:BLP. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 08:18, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
