The first paragraph under appearance is highly misleading as it leaves the impression that there was hostage crisis in episode 5 of series 6 when the hostage crisis in question happened in episode 7 of that series. In epsiode 5, he was instrumental in almost ensuring Carter spends the next ten years or more of his life in prison for a murder, which the CIA framed him. Hogan admits that the vagrant was set-up to mug Carter and later killed. Hence it needs to be stated outright that the hostage crisis happened in episode 7 and not leave the impression that it currently does.
