Proposed Changes
editInformation to be updated to section "Career": "Recent projects underway include The Armory in San Francisco; May Hosiery and Nashville Warehouse Company in Nashville, Marine Hotel and Spa in North Berwick, Scotland as well as the Rusacks Hotel overlooking the Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland, opening in 2021. In 2019, Chip and Joanna Gaines announced they would work with AJ Capital Partners to open a hotel in Waco, Texas, set to debut in 2021."
Explanation of issue: These upcoming projects are relevant and important for users to get a comprehensive understanding of Mr. Weprin's company, AJ Capital Partners. The Marine Hotel and Spa project indicates the company's international expansion. Ben Weprin and AJ Capital Partners partnership with Chip and Joanna Gaines is a monumental project, renovating a historic building into a boutique hotel a few blocks away from the couple's famous Magnolia Market.

Not done three of the sources don't even mention Weprin, the other two are passing mentions, it would seem that the only intention is to promote his business activities. Theroadislong (talk) 20:51, 18 February 2020 (UTC)

Marketing trumpery
editThis article is very poorly sourced and merely promoting Weprin's business. Theroadislong (talk) 20:30, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
Proposed merge of AJ Capital Partners with Ben Weprin
editall content here is about his company, not enough about him to support a stand alone article Theroadislong (talk) 16:07, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose both Graduate Hotels and AJ Capital Partners are notable subjects founded by Weprin. Weprin himself could survive an AFD challenge on WP:GNG or WP:BASIC. I added a little stuff to demonstrate his notability.-TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 11:15, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
Don't merge – <Ben Weprin is the founder of Graduate Hotels and AJ Capital Partners. In addition to this, he is the owner of multiple other real estate development projects in both the United States and United Kingdom. His diverse portfolio of real estate development and design projects, philanthropic partnership with the I Promise School, leadership positions across multiple organizations and a recipient of multiple notable awards are reasons alone to support a stand alone article for Ben Weprin. I have added a few sources to demonstrate the notability of this claim> Trg2020 (talk) 20:21, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
