Why was "Asian American plays" removed?

edit

Any reason why this play shouldn't be listed as Asian American? Aristophanes68 (talk) 04:12, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Because the play didn't originate in Asia or has had any productions their. --Bialytock&Bloom (talk) 12:12, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

That's irrelevant to the definition of Asian American. What you're describing is simply "Asian". Joseph is listed as an Indian-American author and his plays could therefore be studied as part of Asian American literature. Aristophanes68 (talk) 15:48, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry! I should have thought about that more! Thanks for the explanation. --Bialytock&Bloom (talk) 18:58, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
