editI do think that it should be added in the introduction that Gigli is often considered, alongside Caruso and Bjorling, as one of the very finest tenors of the 20th century; or of recorded music history. To the non-expert, this shows (without overdoing it) how high Gigli is placed as a talented performer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FTGHSmith (talk • contribs) 13:03, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Education
editSurely we need to include a section before his debut about his education at Santa Cecilia and his two teachers Antonio Cotogni and Enrico Rosati. It's important from the standpoint of pedagogy and tradition/lineage. --Trrill (talk) 19:45, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
NOT HALF ENOUGH
editThe article does Gigli scan justice - it is so brief, bald and dry. It has the tone of damning with faint praise. It omits whole areas of Gigli's stage and recording performances. He could communicate emotion, and drama, like few other performers. Above all else, Gigli had a quite exceptional and unique voice, which remained unchanged in its essentials throughout his illustrious career. There is so much more to say about this superstar! 31.48.147.94 (talk) 10:43, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
