Benue–Congo is not the largest subdivision of Niger–Congo
editThe article states that Benue–Congo is the largest subdivision of Niger–Congo by languages and speakers (and did so before my numerous edits). Atlantic–Congo and Volta–Congo are larger. I didn't want to remove the line because it seemed established for some time without dispute, but it is not sourced, and it is not technically correct. If anyone believes that it should be removed, please comment so below. SpikeballUnion (talk) 21:44, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
- I ended up fixing it myself with the more accurate wording of "one of the largest subdivisions of the Niger–Congo language family". SpikeballUnion (talk) 14:52, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
