editTheyuusuf143, can you please come to the talk page and not edit war this time? Anyways, why are you socking? AcidSnow (talk) 23:09, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
To be honest with ya i dont even know whats socking. but i just realised one of my counyrymen is giving you hardtime. i told you before your domination is going to end. why you are spoiling our country pages while there is no somalilanders doing the same to your country pages? i think its time to discuss the whole problem before we talk about this particular page. its shame that we somalis are fighting even in wekipedia. i thank you and your freinds when ever you make constructive edit, revert or contribution. but most of time you are discrediting and spoiling somaliland pages. i think we should exchange some personal emails to discuss about this before hardliners escalate the problem. i even dont know how to contact you but will i try tommorow. nabadeey. Theyuusuf143 (talk) 23:44, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
- *sigh*, this edit really blow it for you. AcidSnow (talk) 00:23, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
are you trying to blackmail me while i am trying to negotiate you! i dont know where did that came from. i never put that i support somaliland or from somaliland in my profile. although i made it clear publicly i dont understand whats going here. did you put those little somaliland flags in my profile, to match the big somaliland flag on no more mugadishu user's profile. its late now i will talk to you tomorrow. Theyuusuf143 (talk) 01:07, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
- What on earth are you talking about? Do you even know what "blackmail" is? AcidSnow (talk) 03:30, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
English is not my first language i am SOMALI (do you speak somali? ) to me its blackmail because you created those things to demand that i should be removed from wekipedia.

Population estimate
edithi, checking ref [27] cannot seem to find the same number that is stated in the article. How is the number 232,753 reached? it seems that ref 27 states a population of 60,753 for Berbera (which is considerably less!). I would like to add more historical references to the page.
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 14:09, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
demographics
editBerbera's demographics are totally wrong. Aqooni is misusing sources to clam that western Berbera is of his clan (Gadabuursi) and this is a case of protecting Wrong Version.
Maps like [[1]], [2], [[3]], and [[4]] maps proves this while clans&f=false and [5] just confirms it.
Meanwhile, Aqooni has misused a source that was refering to Awdal as west of Berbera, not western Berbera itself. The source was written during British protectorate times.
The part about Gadabuursi should be removed. @Lion Pappa: @Kzl55:Mushteeg (talk) 23:20, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
The Isa Musa didn’t take up the town from the Nuh Ismail. Nuh Ismail, Isa Musa and Mikahil used to inhabit the town together. However the brotherly Nuh Ismail controlled the Abbanship of the town. Because of Sheikh Madar, the Nuh Ismail migrated to modern day Hargeisa, leaving behind Isa Musa and Mikahil. Berbera (town not district) today is almost exclusively inhabited by Isa Musa, and there’s a presence of Mikahil as well. KnowledgeAkil (talk) 02:39, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

I would like to add Berbera flag https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_Berbera.png Siirski (talk) 21:04, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. This flag looks ... unprofessional. Do you have a source indicating that this is actually the official flag of Berbera? As far as I can tell, you derived it from a tiny image at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqYPG2F2Ki0IdMPiakQRyDA, but it is tagged on Commons as "own work" rather than a derivative of someone else's work. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:36, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
Isamusa and Berbera
edit@Jiilaal: I saw your edit. I have read the Petermanns Mitteilungen. Ergänzungsheft you mentioned. It says
- The Isa Musa, whose grazing area is the coastal plain, also collect a transit toll from the caravans of 4 anas (about 48 pence) for the loaded dromedary and 1 ana for each sheep and goat brought by other tribes to the market of Berbera.).
According to the book, we can say that Isa Musa lived in Berbera, but we do not know if it was the largest clan. Freetrashbox (talk) 12:40, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- They live and was the largest in history of Berbera and Somali history. Even if look many other cities. Ainabo was in Dhulbahante in history like Lasanod city. Jiilaal (talk) 12:25, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

- Hello Freetrashbox, as you can understand Gabiley primarily inhabited by people from Gudabuursi in history and Sa'ad Musa protected to edit the page of Gabiley to edit. as well as have many Books that Dhulbahante belongs to Ainabo is Somalia history.
- "Gadabuursi are concentrated in Awdal and partially in the neighbouring region of Galbeed ( in the Gabiley district ) , but most of the Gadabuursi inhabited the Somali region of Ethiopia ( the so - called region five )" Shattering Tradition Custom, Law and the Individual in the Muslim Mediterranean. I hope you understand the situation.

- Hi @Jiilaal,
- Please stop removing content with reliable sources in Berbera and Sahil, Somaliland articles, among many more. While Berbera is mainly inhabited by the Issa Musa (which no one has disputed, including the cited sources), they are not the only clan to inhabit the city, something that the citations can attest to.
- You have been repeatedly warned five times and have engaged in edit-warring with three editors regarding this. Gebagebo (talk) 02:31, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

Gebogebo absolute marking fake or false content on the Berbera. Jiilaal (talk) 06:20, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- Can you please explain how this content you keep removing, backed up by multiple cited reliable sources, is somehow "fake" and "false"?
- I don't think you understand how Wikipedia works. Gebagebo (talk) 04:05, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Jiilaal: The page you quoted, Blood and Bone p.102, can be read for free on Google Books. However, it doesn't seem to mention Berbera. What page is it on? Freetrashbox (talk) 12:31, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Jiilaal: Your description does not match the source you indicated (see above). Additional source(s) are required. Freetrashbox (talk) 02:16, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Just reverted both your edits now, if you continue to remove sourced content to push a POV I will have to escalate this. Please do not edit these pages without seeking consensus first. Gebagebo (talk) 01:49, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
