editI created the example by randomly throwing cards around, then post-analysing them; if anyone has a more succinct idea please improve it. Also, I'm not so positive that N-S can always make 4♠ if the defense can manage to lead trumps frequently enough; the declarer might come short either on 2 club ruffs on the table or 3 diamond ruffs in hand. Plus, some finesse involved in the example is welcome (on the principle that if it's onside, it increases the LTC for one side but decreases for the other and vice versa). Also, few words on "adjustments" as described by Bergen & Cohen would be welcome (double fit increases, middle honors and wasted values decrease etc.) Duja► 12:44, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
