I am not getting the categories right. I know for sure there is a page on Painting style (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painting_style) but obviously I miswrite the link to this page.AdeleivdVelden (talk) 18:55, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Bergen School (art) → Bergen school (art) – Lowercase per MOS:MOVEMENT and common lowercase in sources. Dicklyon (talk) 18:55, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support: It's a movement. It's not a proper noun. We did a bunch of these earlier, this one should follow Wikipedia style like the others. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 22:15, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, Talk:Cretan school#Requested move 25 April 2024 (3 articles), Talk:French liberal school#Requested move 2 July 2024 (1 article), Talk:Bolognese school#Requested move 26 July 2024 (12 of 14 articles; two seemed predominantly uppercased). — BarrelProof (talk) 22:46, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Using lowercase will help indicate that it was an informal movement, not the name of a specific institution. — BarrelProof (talk) 22:26, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support. This is a MOS:MOVEMENT matter, clearly. (This is not a school in the sense of an educational institution.) Also the move will be WP:CONSISTENT with lower-case treatment of economic and other schools of practice. We have a problem with sometime-capitalization of "major arts movements" in an era or super-genre sense, versus this specific school-of-practice sense. That needs ultimately to be addressed with an RfC, as I've detailed at Talk:Northern Mannerism#Requested move 22 October 2024. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 17:42, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
