Though it doesn't belong in the article proper, I thought it would be ok to mention on the talk page that Bernie was an "uncle" to me when I was growing up, and he was a great guy. With an excellent sense of humor, an ever-present twinkle in his eye, and a strong love of family, he remains a role model to me as an adult. I remember well how happy he was when the Lakers finally beat the Celtics in a championship finals in 1985! Anlala (talk) 18:43, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
