Chemistry of molecular BeH2
editThe section on the chemistry of molecular BeH2 is unreferenced. I cannot find any supporting evidence, if there is some please can someone add it.Axiosaurus (talk) 12:33, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
- I removed the unreferenced material re molecular hydride reactions - moving the reference to the reaction of solid BeH2 with amine to its correct place. Axiosaurus (talk) 09:53, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
Amphotericity
editThis section is suspect- the idea of hydrides being amphoteric is not commonly held- the reaction with base is unreferenced- the reaction with acid is well known but the implication of this section is that intermediates have been found and a detailed study of reaction mechanisms has taken place. I can find no supporting evidence for this. Saying this solid arrhenius like amphoteric properties is not widely accepted and is in my opinion a POV. Axiosaurus (talk) 07:05, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
- I removed the section as no references were provided. It appears it was purely speculative, or original research Axiosaurus (talk) 09:50, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
