Why you write SFR Yugoslavia for players who come from Kosovo?
editDini deisler 00:28, 29 August 2007 (UTC)#1- SFR Yougoslavia doesn't exist any more
- 2- Kosovo is no part of it anyway
- 3- None of the people in Kosovo want to be named as SFR Yougoslavia citizens, that is offending for them.
changed --Childzy ¤ Talk 08:24, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
I very much know that Kosovo is not a part of Yugoslavia, as the country does not exist anymore. But in the 80'es it did, and therefor Bes was born there. This is an encyclopedia, focusing on facts, and not on peoples feelings, that would be wrong. Luckylee he has now gained Albanian citizenship. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maracana (talk • contribs) 12:49, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
- What this guy wrote? "None of the people of Kosovo want to be named as SFR Yugoslavia citizens? Says who? You?
- But Kosovar Albanians didn´t had any problems traveling with SFR Yugoslavia passports in the past when being a SFRY citizen didn´t require visas for most countries, and was quite well seen (50´s 60´s, 70´s 80´s, even 90´s). What an irony?
Country of birth
editI think that in an encyclopedia should be mentioned the city of born and the country to wich it belongs now. So it does not make sence to say that Besart Berisha was born on Pristina, Yugoslavia. Pristina is the capital of the state of Kosovo now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.24.240.90 (talk) 20:51, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- "State of Kosovo"? Says who? Who are you trying to teach geography here? Or, is it more politics? If the situation was clear, there wouldn´t be a problem about it, but unfortunatelly it still isn´t. I wouldn´t mind if you guys were independent, please, be it (independent) and built a wall towards Serbia, so no more land you´ll try to take. (now you want Bujanovac, and other Serbian towns, when you´re gonna end?) but unfortunatelly here, your POV isn´t low, so today Kosovo can equally be considered independent or Serbian province. Why not writting Pristina, Serbia ? For the current situation, it would also be correct. But, anyway, in the year the player was born, Pristina was part of Republic of Serbia and state of Yugoslavia, and, as we write here city+country (at year of birth), it is correct: Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia. The article of this subject is not the place to address the issue in any case. By observing historical accuracy we are setting a standard, the matter no longer needs discussion. Evlekis (talk) 23:07, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Please remove the line "* Dive of the Season 2011-2012 Grand Final". This is vandalism to this page. There are no sources to say that this is true, and is therefore unreliable. Coolkiddies (talk) 10:23, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
Related to this, whilst I agree that the 'Dive of the Season' is unnecessary, can you please restore "Berisha played in the 2012 A-League Grand Final against Perth Glory, scoring an equalizer in the 84th minute and then later earned a very controversial penalty deep in injury time which he converted to give Roar their second successive A-League title." There is no reason that this line should have been removed. The penalty was indeed controversial and has been described as such in media reports of the game, and it is clear on replays that there was no contact in the several seconds before he fell. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.167.243.204 (talk) 19:09, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
- All right, can you provide just once source so I know that such a contribution would be constructive. Thanks. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 19:35, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
Berisha actually admitted to Burns that he dived, so i'm pretty sure that's dive of the season! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.169.221.131 (talk) 01:34, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
Please change "Albanian actor who plays as a diver" as well please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 57.70.27.233 (talk) 04:12, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
This article needs to be changed to remove all references to diving immediatly, it is being distributed on Twitter and other social media sites to much ridicule. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.57.227.126 (talk) 05:10, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
