"The enolate tautomerizes to a carbanion that attacks the thioester of the acetyl-enzyme complex." In my opinion, the enolate and the carbanion rather represent two resonance structures of the very same molecule, while tautomerisation would imply them being two structural isomers, which is not the case - or do I miss something? --Neonoia (talk) 10:00, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
