Merge

It seems that The Proprietors of the Beverly Cotton Manufactory could be very easily and probably should be covered in Beverly Cotton Manufactory. I don't understand why that group should have its own article per WP:BLP1E (of course they're not living). Toddst1 (talk) 15:16, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

There's more notable information about the company than is relevant to the actual mill. I have some records being requested from the Secretary's office that would cover the proprietor's information (money receipts and transaction logs) in more detail than the actual mill. The entire name "Proprietors of the Beverly Cotton Manufactory" was an incorporated name, which is why I chose it. Do you still feel that it should be merged? I do. The info from the Secretary's office falls under WP:PRIMARY. Perhaps we should build out a section about the Proprietors within the article on the Manufactory. If it feels like a separate topic, we can split it out later. Toddst1 (talk) 16:09, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
