Queen of the B's

edit

Mrs Garland was a better-than-competent actress, and received the sobriquet "Queen of the Bs" for her memorable appearances in many cheap films. (If nothing else, she had intense "screen presence".) Something more needs to be said about her acting skills and her legion of admirers.

While we're at it... Wasn't she a regular panelist on Masquerade Party, or some other game show? WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 16:34, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

You've also missed her appearance in the first season Twilight Zone episode "The 4 of us are Dying"2600:1700:9B0:45F0:49BD:27E4:F6BD:F31E (talk) 03:37, 5 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

career hurt by conflicts

edit

From The Film Encyclopedia by Ephraim Katz (4th ed., 2001, p. 511): "Her career was hampered by frequent confrontations with producers and the press."

Would be nice to know more. From watching Not of This Earth, I conclude she had the talent to be a much bigger star, and that she had no lack of confidence, which may not have been appreciated in that era. ProfessorAndro (talk) 09:13, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Filmography

edit

The filmography is really just a selected filmography (which is OK, but the article could indicate this). Also, it's somewhat oddly formatted- for example, it has "1956 no", and IDK what that is supposed to mean. Another thing that strikes me as odd is that TV shows are listed by when the show itself ran, rather than when her episode(s) aired. All in all, I'm pretty sure this could use some sprucing up!
