"Fresh" or "gas"
editI see the name translated as "fresh beer" more commonly than "beer gas" as it says on the wikitravel site...

"Bia hơi production is informal and not monitored by any health agency." Several large companies produce bia hoi as well as bottled varieties. Viet Ha and Viet Phap being among the largest in the North. All breweries are beholden to health standards under Vietnamese law, but enforcement among smaller or household producers is difficult and often not undertaken. This information is based on my living and working in the media in Hanoi for a period of six years. I have watched this article go through several error filled versions due to being edited by people who do not know the subject matter and source information from poorly written articles based on casual observances by tourists. Statements like the one above should be verified or not included. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.201.119.136 (talk) 18:35, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
