Women Performers
editI believe the information about female performers may be out of date. I am currently in Sichuan, where I saw a play including a female face changer and a female puppeteer who performed a face changing routine with her puppet. Also a recent contestant on China's Got Talent was a female face changer. Perhaps someone more familiar with Sichuan Opera can expand on why more women are performing face changing.
