He was not convicted to prison for the guest's statements. I believe this is an attempt to promote the Bibeltemplet website. This was barely news in Sweden.--Ezeu 01:19, 13 October 2005 (UTC)Reply


You must be misinformed, Ezeu. This is what Göteborgs-Posten wrote:

"Vidare fällde tingsrätten Liljeström för brott mot lagen om elektroniska anslagstavlor för att ha gett utrymme åt andra att sprida åsikter som uttrycker missaktning..."

You are also wrong in that it was "barely news in Sweden". The case was followed and reported by Swedish state TV, Radio, and by all the news papers.

Furthermore, there is no promotion here, only a fair presentation of facts, just as they are, as everyone who knows Swedish can check through the search links provided.

Jailed for 'Holding' a view?

It says that the guy was sentenced for holding and expressing an opinion. Is it accurate to say he was sentenced for *holding* an opinion that surely would have been internal to his own mind.
