Inconsistencies in elevation and spelling

edit

Across the sources I've read on this two spellings and multiple elevations are used. The spelling "batalegala" is used in Geography of Ramayana, Sri Lanka Pilgrim's Guide and Sri Lanka Un voyage écolo et éthique. The spelling of "bathalegala" is used in Sri Lanka By Philip Briggs, googles auto correct and Just Another Bomb Blast. The suffix kanda is also used in some sources.

Inconsistent estimations of bible rocks height are also present -

Sri Lanka Pilgrim's Guide - 258ft or 78m

Geography of Ramayana -783m

Destinations Lanka - 239m

Sri Lanka By Philip Briggs - 670m

Any info on the correct spelling, the suffix kanda and the correct height would be appreciated greatly. Clubspike2 (talk) 22:12, 16 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
