Northern limit
editIs there a reference for the northern point of the Bay being Morte Point? It seems more natural to me to describe the northern limit as being Baggy Point, with the bay between the two being a separate body of water, Morte Bay. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:05, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
- Attempting to chase this up - I can imagine both definitions having been employed by various parties though I'd accept that imagining doesn't constitute sufficient reason for inclusion in Wikipedia! Geopersona (talk) 04:51, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
- You've been busy, Ghmyrtle - meanwhile I've asked the question of the AONB office (see http://www.northdevon-aonb.org.uk/aonb_team.htm) and got the reply - Interesting question. There is nothing definitive, however the consensus in our office would be Hartland to Morte Points. Can't use that in the article so I'll still need to see if a reference can be found. - Well... "can't" is a relative term! Undesirable, maybe. Anyway, I've no problm with it staying as it is, if that's what the people on the ground think. Ghmyrtle (talk) 19:31, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
