Bieria vs. Vovo
editOn https://www.endangeredlanguages.com/lang/10797 I read: "Not to be confused with Bieria [brj], which is another Vanuatu language that may also be referred to as Vovo." I don't think they are dialects of one another because they're spoken on different islands (Vovo is on Malakula). So I think I'll create a new article for the Vovo language (which has about 475 speakers according to ELP, vs. 25 for Bieria). Exarchus (talk) 09:01, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
- By now I found out that the Vovo language from Malakula is often considered together with the Vao language. Iso639 doesn't seem to have a language code for Vovo, and Glottolog calls the language 'Vao-Vovo'. So I guess a disambiguation page for Vovo would be better.
