Builder in Florida was NOT Arrow Dynamics
editThe article currently states that BTM was built by Arrow Dynamics in Florida.
Dana Morgan, who was President of the then Arrow-Huss recently stated to me in an email that he is ...confident Arrow Dynamics did *not* build Thunder Mountain. Arrow was still "Arrow Development" in 1980...
The only remote possibility would be that Arrow Dynamics provided a retrofit control system at a later date but I strongly doubt that.
Unless someone has better evidence to the contrary I'll delete the reference to Arrow Dynamics in the article for two reasons;
1) Arrow Dynamics was not organized and registered as a company until 1986. 2) The President of the then Arrow-Huss says Arrow did not build BTM at MK/WDW.

- Unfortunately, what you're proposing to edit the article with is original research. While it may well be accurate, it's not deemed reliable enough to form the basis for the edit. --McDoobAU93 12:02, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
- I've seen several conflicting sources about Arrow vs Vekoma. Also, BTM in Florida feels like an Arrow coaster and sounds like an Arrow coaster. But I can't find any reliable sources. TheEmperorAnt (talk) 15:34, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
Opening date for MK version?
editThe info box says Opening date September 23, 1980 but the timeline says November 15 (which does seem to be the actual date), is there a reason it's different? (Maybe that was a soft opening date? If so that should be in the timeline?) 96.245.204.186 (talk) 22:22, 28 July 2021 (UTC)TF
- A drive-by IP editor changed it back in September 2019. November 15 is the correct date per RCDB. I've changed it back. --GoneIn60 (talk) 03:48, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
