Merge proposal

edit

"Curtains", despite having appeared in Myst IV, really isn't ever going to have enough information available about it for it to merit its own article, as far as I can tell. Merging here is one option; the other would be to merge into Myst IV: Revelation, which I haven't looked at since I haven't finished the game yet. –Unint 00:05, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Edited notes

edit

I edited the footnotes and links, because the footnote stating that Big Time was used for Wrestlemania 22 had a link which led to a news article about Peter Gabriel, but had nothing to do with Big Time or Wrestlemania. It linked to an article dated August 2006. Anakinjmt 23:38, 29 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

bass part

edit

I think the only bass part played by Levin and Marotta with the drum sticks is the "pig" part after the intro chorus ...during the "hey hey hey heeeeyyyy...."; the rest is played by Simon Clark

Oh.. and note the drum credit being Stewart Copeland... with the kick being a Linn drum machine played by Jimmy Brawlower

It's in the credits on the CD insert under the song title... Wamnet

I was thinking about this as well. The bass part is actually a mixture of real bass (played with the drumsticks) and synth bass. In live videos, you can see Tony having to switch between the bass guitar with the funk fingers and playing keyboard bass (with the left hand, obviously!). There's a quote from Tony about this but I can't look it up right now. Jules TH 16 (talk) 20:28, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Bias

edit

The end of the first paragraph included a mention of naivete of the song's views on success. These are allegations which should not be made as a part of an informational article, and most especially not without any backing or evidence presented.
