Bigger Than Jesus → Bigger Than Jesus (album) – This doesn't seem like a good candidate for WP:DIFFCAPS treatment. "Than" isn't uncapitalized per WP:NCCAPS, but it's definitely the sort of word some sources (and thus, some readers) might leave uncapitalized even in a title. Redirect the base title to More popular than Jesus, following the existing Bigger than Jesus. As a second choice, retarget that redirect here. --BDD (talk) 15:01, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
- Support (album), given that J is capitalized anyway increases the chance of a mistake. Not clear whether to redirect to the John Lennon phrase or out to a dab, see Bigger Than Jesus (disambiguation). In ictu oculi (talk) 20:23, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
- Move to Bigger than Jesus (album), with lowercase "than". Here, "than" is a conjunction of only four letters, so MOS:CT appears to recommend lowercase. —BarrelProof (talk) 00:01, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Support per BarrelProof; redirect current title to match "bigger than Jesus" -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 05:10, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Support, the internet has many "than Jesus" references (far more than "than Buddha" or "than Mohammed" references) and Jesus seems to be a general benchmark against comparisons are made. The title is relatively ambiguous. GregKaye 11:01, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Move to Bigger than Jesus (album), with lowercase "than". I come to the same result as BarrelProof, but my reasoning is completely different. than can be a conjunction, but it is a subordinating conjunction then, and those are capitalized according to MOS:CT. Only coordinating conjunctions are lowercased. However, I don't think than is a conjunction here, because that would require a full clause – bigger than Jesus is. Since there is no full clause, than is a preposition here, and prepositions with four letters or less are lowercased according to MOS:CT. Darkday (talk) 22:28, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- I salute your apparently superior expertise with grammar. —BarrelProof (talk) 01:55, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- While I continue to think MOS:CT's language should be changed to say "Prepositions that contain four letters or more", the closer may consider me flexible on capitalization here. --BDD (talk) 13:23, 28 August 2015 (UTC)
- Move to "Bigger than Jesus (album)"; no doubt than is a preposition. Also, disambiguation is needed. George Ho (talk) 23:55, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
