editI'm concerned that, in very short order, this entry is getting loaded up with labels -- specifically the label "liberal." Who says Curry is liberal and John Droney is moderate? I thought Wikipedia opposed that kind of unproven claim. I think some recent edits violate the NPOV concept and seem concerned with making evaluative statements about Curry being more noisy than successful. (ColinMcE 03:22, 12 December 2006 (UTC))
I redid the info about Curry place in the intramural CT political picture to make it more about placement than success. I would argue the ideological labels are self-generated. Curry only would try and call himself a moderate as opposed to a more liberal candidate
Welcome To Wikipedia
editIt is unfortunate that people will edit in order to show a bias. It is one of the "cons" of Wikipedia.
Facts are NPOV
editIt is unfortunate that when facts about a person are added to a wikipedia article people are disconcerted. The Wiki about Curry's 1994 and 2002 opponent was a hit piece for eons and only recently provided any relevant information as to his non-scandal biography.
Anyone who does not know Curry has been at odds with more conservative officeholders of both parties either knows nothing about CT politics or doesn't want anyone else to know. Again, facts are not biased. If the article implied one side of the dispute was rightm that's biased. Acknowledging a dispute existed is informative.
