editTaking a look at Google searches to compare which name is more commonly used:
- 1. Searching "Bill Meakes" rugby yielded about 15,100 results.
- 2. Searching "Billy Meakes" rugby yielded about 78 results.
Team profile pages (and his LinkedIn page) use 'Bill Meakes' as do the vast majority of media reports. -- Ham105 (talk) 15:38, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
Apologies, Melbourne Rebels latest squad list for the Melbourne Rising listed his name as 'Billy'[1] and have seen him named as that on twitter and other sources, maybe a recent change, but will wait for longer to see if it becomes more commonly used, his personal twitter account[2] states him as 'Billy' though as well. -- Harriesss (talk) 18:45, 26 August 2018 (BST)
