Political Affiliation?

Seems to give a lot of money to Conservatives (1500 to Republican causes 500 to democratic ones). I wonder if this had anything to do with him getting his job in the first place.
Name?
editI know his full name is Xavier William Proenza, but having the article at X. William Proenza seems a little strange, since Britt Max Mayfield is located at simply Max Mayfield. Should this be moved to William Proenza or even just Bill Proenza (if he goes by Bill, and his NOAA profile has him listed as Bill, then we can call him Bill in the article title). --Coredesat 21:09, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, go for it. Hurricanehink (talk) 01:17, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, done, since I got nothing but Bill when looking at media reports about the announcement. --Coredesat 02:27, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Balance
editThe propaganda machine is clearly turned full steam ahead against Prozenza. Are there sources where he is portrayed as the victim? (I checked yesterday, there weren't any, but this may change over time). Quatloo 19:50, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- I'd wait and see how this all plays out. No one really knows who the victims are here, but many sides have made mistakes that will need to be rectified, somehow. We need to be very careful about what gets added to this, and the National Hurricane Center, articles. This is unprecedented, I do believe. Thegreatdr 20:05, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
