Billings (disambiguation) β Billings β No clear primary topic given the generic meanings which it seems can be pluralized. The city gets's the most views [[1]] though not overwhelmingly. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:13, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. I think the city in Montana has enough edge over the other topics to get the primary redirect spot. The hatnote to the DAB page works fine here. Rreagan007 (talk) 22:58, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
- There was discussion on this in 2009, see Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (settlements)#Pop quiz and was moved without discussion in 2017 though it was originally a redirect from 2004-2005. For the record Chesterfield is now a DAB thanks to my RM in 2021. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:56, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose. Billings, Montana has a dramatic pageview lead over other articles titled "Billings" specifically (as opposed to WP:PARTIAL title matches like USS Billings or Billings ovulation method). As for sales and invoice, I think the plural form "billings" is a sufficiently uncommon synonym that it precludes sales or invoice from threatening the Montana city's WP:PRIMARYTOPIC status.
