Gang or no?
editI got here by a link from gang, but nothing in this article asserts that the Bills constituted a gang, rather than a subculture. Either they did constitute a gang, and this should be in Category:Gangs, or they didn't, and that link should be removed as misleading. -- Jmabel | Talk 06:02, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
- They were a set of gangs. Each gang had it's own leader, and their own territories (which they fought over). Rather than create articles for each individual Bills gang (they had names like Dallas, Godzilla, Santa Fe, Texas) in order to apply the category Gang, which would be a bit excessive, I put the Bills link in the Gang article. - Xed 07:36, 16 September 2005 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved as proposed, and then retarget to Bill. Armbrust The Homunculus 09:40, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
Bills → Bills (subculture) – I believe that proposed laws, invoices and banknotes are all more likely to be meant than this Congolese/Zairean subculture, so I suggest this article be renamed and this title be repointed to bill as an {{R from plural}} -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 05:34, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

- Support - Definitely. I'm surprised such that a common term like "bills" would point to such an obscure topic. Seems more reasonable that "bills" would point to Bill (disambiguation). NickCT (talk) 12:29, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- Support - as nom, though alternatively Bills (gang) would be recognisable. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:40, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- Support and point the link to the disambig. bd2412 T 16:23, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
- Support but redirect to disambiguation page as per all the others. Not just this use, but also the Buffalo Bills (just off the top of my head) use the plural instead of the singular, which I think robs the article on proposed laws of its primacy for the plural title. - Support I'm surprised that this hasn't been done already. The subculture is definitely not the first thing I think of when I hear the word "Bills". Johnny338 (talk) 21:11, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
