2. The Wasco-Wishram are closely related Chinookan peoples. The Wasco are affiliated with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Oregon. The Wishram are affiliated with the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation Washington. It was the Wasco who named Lake Billy Chinook in Oregon, not the Wishram. So it is.
