Contradiction
editHow can they have almost 1,000 lawyers but only 870 employees? Lawyers need clerks, secretaries, investigators, etc. to do the real work and make them look good. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC) (in the same union as many legal secretaries, clerks, etc.)
It seems the word "employee" is being reserved here specifically for those who are not associates/partners. I do agree wording it as such is a bit dubious. Perhaps "Approximately 1900 employees including 1,000 lawyers."--Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 16:50, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
This page gives the number of employees as 1618+57=1675, but from a headcount perspective, so presumably includes lawyers and non lawyers, just to confuse things even more.• Anakin (contribs • complaints) 17:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree that those numbers look off. When it gets fixed, remember that equity partners are not employees. They're lawyers at the firm, but they're owners. Also, what is a clerk? Is that like a paralegal?Nycbl1y (talk) 20:10, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
