VBI

edit

I removed the merge from for the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute from VT's page. Much like the NASA research center that VT manages, VBI is a separate institution that VT manages and participates in, it is not directly a part of VT, though that may change in the future. --Buridan 14:35, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)

This is not correct: VBI is (and was always) a research institute of VT, it is off the President's Office in the organizational structure. All Staff and Faculty at VBI are VT employees. You should have VBI linked off the VT page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.27.189 (talk) 23:29, 18 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've added specifics of VBI occupancy in the CRC. Note that I am almost sure that VBI did not move to its Campus building in Jan 2005, as the page says, but earlier in 2004 (there were two phases of the move, but the first was surely in 2004). I will change this when I find a good quotable source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.193.46.113 (talk) 20:08, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
