Critical response?
editWould a section on critical response be appropriate for this article? The strong early hype and corresponding backlash seems to be a big part of what makes this band notable. Evidence of each should be easy enough to source. (96.252.41.188 (talk) 16:49, 26 September 2008 (UTC)).
A Wee Bit Racist
editIsn't it?

- What are you referring to? VillageGreen1215 (talk) 19:43, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Just the fact that the band is named 'Black Kids'. Not trying to damage the article or anything, just discussing the name. mÆniac Ask! 18:07, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Talk pages are not a forum for discussing personal opinions. If you have a reliable source discussing reactions to the name, that would be appropriate to discuss. (Also note that two members of the band are black.)--Cúchullain t/c 19:41, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Not to mention, it's unclear what might be construed as racist about their name? It's not "I Hate Black Kids" or something... VillageGreen1215 (talk) 01:47, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Just trying to start a discussion.... mÆniac Ask! 22:48, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
