I will review this article today! --K. Peake 07:26, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
Infobox and lead
edit- Why isn't electronica listed under genres in the infobox?
- I object to the ref in the infobox; write out it was also released under Columbia in the release section instead
- WP:OVERLINK of Beyoncé under songwriters
- Swap the release sentence with the production one, also cut this down to being who produced the song and when it was done
- Make the celebration part the sentence directly after the release one, adding the genres at the start of it
- "Critics noted the track's ability" → "Critics noted the song's ability"
- Pipe police brutality to Police brutality in the United States
- "also acting as an" → "also serving as an"
- "The release of the single" → "The release of the song"
- "with four nominations including" → "with four nominations, including"
- Mention the commercial performance at the end of the lead
Background and production
edit- Any article to link 2020 Black Lives Matter Protests to?
- Wikilink Kentucky Attorney General

- Pipe Breonna Taylor to Killing of Breonna Taylor
- The sleeping part is not sourced
- "urged Cameron to "take" → "urged Cameron, "Take"
- "in charging the officers"." → "in charging the officers."" per MOS:QUOTE on full sentences
- Img looks good!
- Associated Press should not be italicised
- Wikilink Derek Dixie, however this quote is not sourced
- Quote box looks good!
- Merge the third para with the second one per the overly short size
- "on July 31 in order to capitalize off of it," → "on July 31, 2020. The simultaneous release could have been capitalize off of,"
Release
edit- Retitle to Release and promotion
- Make this the section directly after comp
- The first sentence also needs a citation to back up the release date of the song
- The celebrating part from Beyoncé's quote is unsourced
- Merge the third para with the second one per this also being promo
Composition
edit- Retitle to Composition and lyrics
- Img looks good!
- Consequence of Sound → Consequence, piping to Consequence (publication)
- "brass bands [and]" → "brass bands, [and]"
- "police brutality and the" → "police brutality, and the" but why are the protests linked here instead of earlier?
- "her Texan roots as well as" → "her Texan roots, as well as"
- Where is the Oshun part after Orishas sourced?
- It is not sourced that Beyoncé sings these lyrics during the second verse
- "Martin Luther King Jr. and her mother" → "Martin Luther King Jr., and her mother"
- "noted that she pointed out the" → "noted that the singer points out the"
Critical reception

- BBC News should not be italicised
- Only use the surname Wood per an intro already having been provided
- "lyric in the song references" → "lyrics in the song reference"
- "to Africa and grows despite" → "to Africa, growing despite" to avoid overusage of and
- "lyric describes turning a" → "lyrics describe turning a"
- Remove or replace the Forbes review per WP:FORBES
- "describing how there is" → "Wood described how there is" as a new sentence, moving to the start of the below para instead
- "however, he continues:" → "however, he continued:"
- Pipe Complex to Complex (magazine) per MOS:LINK2SECT

- "top 40 hit" → "top-40 hit"
- "matching Michael Jackson." → "matching Michael Jackson's record."
- "on the Digital Song Sales" → "on the US Digital Song Sales"
- Shouldn't number-one in the context of an achievement always have a dash for consistency?
- Mention the release year of "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"
- Use refnames to add the citations from the chart table for these positions
Awards and nominations
edit- ""Black Parade" won" → "The song won"
- Pipe Grammy to Grammy Awards
- "and now ties Frank Sinatra for the most nominated artist in this category in" → "and tied Frank Sinatra for the most in this category in" to be less wordy
- Surround "after Pharrell Williams" with commas instead of brackets
- Pipe "Savage Remix" to Savage (Remix) per MOS:LINK2SECT
- "Beyoncé also became the" → "The singer also became the"
- The Best R&B Song part is not sourced in prose
- "making Beyoncé the most" → "making her the most"
