editTO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Some information contained on the website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackfriars_Priory_School) in relation to Blackfriars Priory School is not in keeping with the purpose of the page, which is fundamentally designed to provide information about the school and aspects of its development over time. Specific mention is made about episodes of child abuse in the school’s history which is inappropriate in context of the stated purpose of the site. From the school’s reading of the policy, it would violate Wikipedia’s ‘neutral point of view’ principle, which is observed with other schools which appear on this site.
Furthermore, a substantial amount of the information relates to a person names as Brian Perkins, who has never been associated with Blackfriars Priory School. The attribution appended to this information relates to a special school called St Anne’s, which has nothing to do with Blackfriars. In addition, Blackfriars is impugned and defamed as being involved in a 10 year cover up in relation to Perkins, and, that the school defaulted in its employment processes by not checking the person’s past. This is all erroneous as the said person has never had any association with Blackfriars. Aside from this information, it is also asserted that intellectually disable students attend Blackfriars which is not correct.
The school sees it fit to withdraw the information which is both wrong and defamatory. I would invite anyone who wishes to communicate about this matter or clarify information related to child abuse to do so either via email or through contact addresses that appear on the site.
Yours sincerely and without prejudice,
Paul Hine

- I'm an admin, but will state upfront I'm not representing the Foundation or the owners of the site. If the information was verifiable and definitely linked to the school by reliable sources, it would be necessary for the article to document said information. This is one of the hazards of having an article on Wikipedia, as the subject entity does not own the article. However with this situation it appears that the journalist who wrote the story for the ABC (the other link is merely commentary on a non-external links site) made an error in linking the wrong school to the right case. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me, or feel free to contact the Foundation. Orderinchaos 03:53, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Blacks crest 1953a.JPG
editImage:Blacks crest 1953a.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
