'Bible belt area'

Removed this phrase because I've never heard it used in reference to Blackwood - if a number of other people have, then I'd be happy with it. Ljmh 04:23, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nicole Cornes

edit

The section on the 2007 election result implies Nicole Cornes won the seat but, according to the reference cited, she merely won more primary votes. However, the reference [1] only gives results for one polling booth (Sheperds Hill Road). The article should take into account results from the polling booth on Coromandel Parade [2] which shows Cornes fell short of winning more primary votes in the combined Blackwood polling booths.

The statement also fails to take into account that people from anywhere in the electorate can vote at any polling station within the electorate (without having to cast an absentee vote), so a large number of Blackwood residents could have voted in other suburbs, while a large number of residents from other suburbs could have voted in Blackwood.

Therefore, I think the reference is misleading and should be removed completely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewbull (talkcontribs) 23:33, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
