Deleting "Successful Blind Dating" section
editI think we should delete this whole section. The subject matter is more suited for a site like WikiHow, not Wikipedia. Anybody think this section has content we should keep? --StoneTowerSage (talk) 20:17, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
This section is just dating advice, sourced from blogs, forums, and Yahoo! Answers. So I am deleting it. WikiHow already has an article on the subject. --StoneTowerSage (talk) 01:08, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- Agree with deletion. If there's a common procedure for blind dates like Heimlich maneuver then a summary can be provided. But this is WP:NOTMANUAL. -AngusWOOF (talk) 01:30, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
In popular culture
editI have tagged the article for its inclusion of trivia in the "in popular culture" section, then removed what I believe are the trivial items in this edit. It wasn't as bad as it looked at first glance, so I took off the tag. Neil916 (Talk) 19:24, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
Online dating
editDoes a mention (and such a lenghty one) of online dating really belong in this article? Members of online dating typically see a picture of one another and correspond back and forth electronically and/or by phone before the date which in my book doesn't qualify as a blind date. advertising
editthe chapter "Online dating" does not refer to blind dates. it's only purpose is name the dating sites... please delete or re-work it — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.174.229.180 (talk) 17:36, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
