License
editIs the license really GPL? I'd rather say it's proprietary. --Abdull 09:58, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
NPV

- this looks like it was written by the company itself, Guppiebugs (talk) 16:09, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- This article is clearly written by the software distributor. It needs to be completely rewritten, in my opinion. I would go so far as to suggest banning some IP addresses, but that's not for me to decide. — Stimpy talk 09:24, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, this looks like an ad - not an encyclopaedia article. 217.154.131.202 (talk) 16:33, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
the quality of their products leaves much desired, the software is horrible. Markthemac (talk) 00:18, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
BlueSoleil 8
editis BlueSoleil 8 legit? or is it a fakeware (like what happened to shareaza)? how come they jumped from ver. 6.4 to 8? is it like what winamp did? 79.178.5.50 (talk) 21:38, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Critisism and Version Descriptions are needed
editWe need to add these sections, as there is a lot of critisism for the drivers and the support. Also, someone should look into the versions and the ability to upgrade.
BlueSoleil have major issues with updates and registering of the software, as well as the addware you need to install for the drivers to work (from 4.1 up to 6.0) we also need to declare the versions and maybe some changelog.
What do you think? 89.101.159.1 (talk) 09:09, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Criticism section is critical
editMissing section for sure - I've been following forums and it seems that one of the main features of products from IVT is that their licensing and purchasing model is troublesome and frequently abandons users by revoking serial numbers or failing online activation. Additionally it seems that they don't offer technical support or troubleshooting for their products as evidenced by forum posts and my personal research. They DO seem to be one of the most prolific stack vendors however. I can't comment on the pricing they give to OEMs, but it seems that they must give crippled software to OEMS at little to no cost to bundle with hardware, and offer "instant upgrades" - Anyway, all signs point to dodgy products and practices. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.105.137.42 (talk) 18:15, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
COVID-19 Products
editIt would seem that bluesoliel/IVT are offering coronavirus supplies such as medical masks, gloves, sanitisers and apparently testing kits. Not sure if this is relevant to add or worth adding? Usx9 (talk) 14:57, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
