Help needed to avoid deletion
editThis is a legit page (about 3000 of these were made) and I am not sure I am doing it right to keep it alive. Any assistance would be welcome. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcskua (talk • contribs) 02:51, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- This page really needs more. I don't know much about RVs, but the Bluebird Wanderlodge used to have the cachet of Rolls-Royce in the RV community.Es330td (talk) 18:19, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- After looking at the criteria of the notability guidelines, it seems to me like this article should stay for several reasons:
- There are separate articles dedicated to other Blue Bird products.
- Merging this article with Blue Bird Corporation or Blue Bird All American would not make sense in the long run; this page can be expanded with enough help.
- Although this page is at a bit of a dead end right now, there is already referenced content on here, as opposed to purely original research (it is a start!)
Expanding the article
editAs it stands right now, the article is better than it was in the past, but it has a long way to go. However, there are a few suggestions as for how to improve things a bit:
- Blue Bird's own website has some information on the Wanderlodge history, if there is a need for a source.
- Blue Bird also has a web presence going back to about 1997; product literature may be able to accessed [1] .
- There are a couple questions that could be answered:
- When did the Wanderlodge become motorcoach-based instead of school bus-based (this could become a subsection of its own)
- Information about the end of production and the sale of the product line. (this could be a subsection of its own too; Information on Blue Bird Corporation Wikipedia article)

- Hopefully my edits today will clear up some of these questions. After a couple years of research I decided that 30,000+ pounds was just too heavy for a camper... Altaphon (talk) 22:55, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- It looks like the information has gained a lot of ground for the article. As far as the weight goes, that is likely due to its close relationship to the school bus line (current versions of the All American have a 36,000 lb GVWR. --SteveCof00 (talk) 20:20, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
Explaining article expansion
editRight now, the article has just about doubled in size, in terms of content. Based on what I've found, I've been able to start a decent timeline for the model's design history without any significant gaps. I've also added some new sections for external links and powertrain content. Eventually, the introduction will need some attention, along with finding free-use images of other Wanderlodges in addition to "Large Marge" seen in the infobox. --SteveCof00 (talk) 05:04, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Notability Tag
editAs that was added when the article was just a couple of sentences, it is likely a good time to suggest removing that now. Although this article is still in need of development, that question should likely be answered by now. --SteveCof00 (talk) 19:41, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
