I found this article, suggesting that there were (in 2001, at least) discussions to extend the Blue Line in order to have a Georgetown Metro Stop. Do you all think this is still on the mind of WMATA at all? Link: http://www.thehoya.com/news/103001/news4.cfm --Realbrvhrt 06:29, 1 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

If it is, I think it's on the back burner, with the Silver Line considered more of a priority. SchuminWeb (Talk) 12:33, 1 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oklahoma Ave/Kingman Lake Station???

edit

Does anyone have any sources about the station they had originally planned to have between Stadium/Armory and Benning Rd? The site is still clear and there is a big parking lot constructed around the tracks. I heard they were thinking about finally completing it. --162.24.9.213 (talk) 03:27, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Previous right of way

edit

I'm skeptical of this section on the former right-of-way for several reasons. First of all, much of it is sourced Trainorders posts, which aren't acceptable for use on Wikipedia. Second, it takes 8K of markup to write a short paragraph, which is beyond excessive. Third, two sentences require something like thirteen citations to support them, which is classic bombing.
