Mentions elsewhere
editI do not remember off of the top of my head where specifically, but outside of regular performances, I seem to remember seeing a list of occurences that the subject of an article was mentioned in another instance, location, TV show, sort of if it (or they in this case) were referenced in another location that is not normally a place you would expect to hear about them.
One specific location, found during watching re-runs, is NCIS episode titled "The Weak Link" where during a black light examination of parachute cords, Abby mentions them. Another one was another show, Las Vegas. I do not remember the specific episode, but they (BMG) figure a little more into the episodic story line than just a mention as in NCIS.
Shouldn't this article have one of those as well? 32.212.102.239 (talk) 20:34, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not IMDb. We don't mention every appearance, unless there's actual coverage by reliable sources. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 20:48, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- That may be, but there is not any section here, and there have been on many other pages in the past. I came looking for that section as well to add one. In Futurama, episode titled "Assie Come Home", BMG is mentioned by the Lighthouse Keeper after the ship crashes next to the light house. As far as "reliable", watch the episode. I just saw it myself.
- As far as the Las Vegas episode, I remember that. However, BMG actually appeared in that episode. 32.223.149.71 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 15:14, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
2016 Jon Daker Meeting
editThe user Dual Freq has been attempting to revert edits I make related to Jon Daker. The BMG's meeting with Daker was publicized in a local Peoria IL newspaper and on Yahoo News. It seems like a notable event in their history. Wikitehedia (talk) 01:40, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sure it was important to Daker, but a single meeting for a few minutes with one person is not worth mentioning in an article about the Blue Man Group. You're just trying to justify the existence of the other article by linking it here. It's not important or notable in the history of the Blue Man Group. --Dual Freq (talk) 02:30, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- You're watching my edit page following me around Wikipedia reverting any edit I make you don't like. I have not done anything unethical. Wikitehedia (talk) 06:49, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
