Needs polishing

edit

The Appearance section reads more like a pet selection guide than an encyclopedia. Needs some work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.181.115.4 (talk) 20:57, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have to remember Wikipedia is edited by amateurs and pet owners. As a child I knew several 'hound dog men' with decades of experience but they never had time to fool with internet sites! White Arabian mare (talk) 18:55, 15 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Micky Jack

edit

Why does it say Micky Jack? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.98.6.227 (talk) 20:24, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Micky Jack? Where is that coming from? White Arabian mare (talk) 18:52, 15 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Red tick hound

edit

Is the redtick hound just a variety of bluetick coonhound? --Bejnar (talk) 18:44, 16 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

It is a stand-alone breed. See American English Coonhound. Pinethicket (talk) 18:59, 16 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Darker Blueticks

edit

Has anybody else noticed that the Blueticks now are much darker than in years past? The older dogs had separate, distinct ticks but now the ticks are so close together that they are blurred and make the whole coat look navy blue. White Arabian mare (talk) 18:10, 16 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
